Shauna McLatchy Adix was born 13 June 1932. She married Vern Adix, a professor of theater at the University of Utah. They had two children, David and Allison. Adix was a professor at the University of Utah, the first director of the Women's Resource Center (1971-1989), and an activist in women's issues. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Sociology in 1953 from the University of Utah. In 1958 she received her master's degree in human relations from Ohio University. Adix earned a Ph.D from the ...
